Support our mission

R&G gallery is currently looking to build a gallery space to highlight what our city has to offer. R&G's long-term objectives and goals include the incubation and growth of the community through the arts. A cafe/bar lounge will be available in the front of the house in addition to a gallery and a teaching studio to help raise the necessary cash to maintain this location's operation over the long run. This area will establish a secure and welcoming setting for artists to interact, gather, work, research, plan, etc.

This will create the ideal environment to inoculate the creative mindset and support the growth of our city by fostering a community of like-minded creators.

In order to develop our vision and bring out the artists in our city, we would like to enlist the assistance of the city of Homestead and its residents in the creation of this sacred area.

About Us

Reginald Henry

Gallery owner

R&G Art Creations LLC is a longtime resident of the city of homestead’s art scene for about 32 years. We are currently looking to build a gallery and art lounge to highlight n showcase our city. R&G's long-term objectives and goals include the incubation and growth of the community through the arts, the unification of the art scene to increase employment prospects for artists, employing artists as teachers for the expansion of the arts to new generations for the benefit of the society.

Reginald Henry began painting at the age of 13; he is now 56 years old and has three children.

In his work, Reggie wishes to convey the message that "I want the world now" and there is a better life ahead.

Totally self-taught, "this is a big feeling for me...to see that I can create things with colors, or light, and make them turn into a masterpiece." Anytime a work is done, it is a masterpiece, and a part of my Spirit, and a part of me.

Reggie views himself as a "receiver", and through his art transmits "What I heard, and hear, and see to the world."

"I feel excited when I stand up in front of my work and look. The feeling that I have is hard to explain. To me painting is colors and shape, and from there bring the light out of it."

" thank God for that gift that he gave me, to share his love to others."

John Henry was mentored by his father, who took him to art shows and helped him understand the art world. His love of art continued to grow, and after graduating high school, he met a world-class builder and muralist named BlackBrain, who took him under his apprenticeship. The artist currently continues to work with his mentor BlackBrain, with a focus on honing his skills and talents in real-world applications. His unique perspective and experiences as a Latino artist and child of immigrants have allowed him to bring a fresh and meaningful perspective to the art world. The combination of his grandfather's traditional knowledge, his father's avant-garde influences, and his own personal experiences makes him a force to be reckoned with in the art world. With his passion for exploring the connections between humanity, art, and the environment, the young artist is set to leave a lasting impact on the world of art.

"Humanity's bond between nature and an individual consists of the urge to survive and the inner struggle with one's inner darkness, those are the stories I tell within my work"
